New and refined products and components have to stand the test under most different conditions and prove their reliability and functional performance. It is therefore necessary to perform extensive tests during the process of development, whether at test labs, on test stands, in heating and cold chambers, wind channels or by doing field tests even under the roughest of conditions. This is the only way to prove and guarantee that the quality requirements are met.
The uniLOGGER is specifically intended for mobile use during the design and development phase. As a universally usable device it logs, displays, evaluates and records data. It is recommended for products that generate a large bulk of very different data and are influenced by different functionalities as is the case in vehicle manufacturing.
UniLogger is a universal, user-programmable and platform-independent and visualised system for acquiring, storing, processing, evaluating and displaying data, predominantly from bus systems.
The uniLOGGER is platform-independent: Therefore, the software runs under Windows on a standard PC/laptop or under Linux on a platform developed by us specifically for test purposes.
The uniLOGGER has a high-resolution 7" TFT colour display with touchscreen for complete control. A simple, easy-to-use configuration program is available for the uniLOGGER so that the user can configure the display as needed. By drag and drop, the user can choose from a variety of stored modules and additionally select colour, size and position. If required, the test results can be shown by different types of diagrams or on round instruments, for example. The PC is also used to configure the actual logger functions, set the triggers or warnings and define the storage. Various configurations can be stored on the uniLOGGER and are then available for mobile use.
In mobile use, the power for the uniLOGGER is usually supplied by the object to be tested, such as the on-board power supply of the vehicle. A 220 V power pack is part of the scope of delivery. If the power supply fails or is interrupted, an integrated battery ensures that data collected in the meantime does not get lost. The versatility of the uniLOGGER can also be demonstrated with regard to other special functions, such as residual bus simulation on CAN and LIN, transport and diagnostic protocols on CAN, LIN and K-Line as well as gateway functionalities between all supported bus systems.

The uniLOGGER features numerous standard interfaces and is designed for the CAN and FlexRay common bus systems. Altogether, there are 4 CAN, 2 FlexRay, 1 Ethernet and 8 USB sockets available, and one VGA and RS232 socket each. uniLOGGER's range of applications can be extended by probes.
